Join us for our Innovators & Rule Breakers panel with Bradley Flowers from Portal Insurance, Kay Maghan from Gulf Shores & Orange Beach Tourism and Braxton Gilbert of Braxton Gilbert Fitness.
Our panelists are shaking things up with their marketing strategies. They’ll inspire us with ways to create interest and take a different approach to promote business.
Each panelist will give us a breakdown of how they’re doing things differently, then we’ll open it up to the floor for questions and answers.
Meet the Panelists:
Bradley Flowers – OwnerPortal Insurance
Bradley is a nationally recognized Insurance Agency Owner and Marketing Enthusiast. He runs the day to day operations at Portal Insurance in Saraland, Alabama, a business he built on the back of social media and personal branding. Although he is a part of the insurance industry, Bradley considers himself a marketer first, generating 98% of his new business through Facebook and Instagram, which includes more than 8500 leads in 2017 and 2018. In 2016 he was named the #1 Insurance Personality on Snapchat by the Wall Street Journal. Bradley is the co-host of the “Insurance Guys Podcast” a marketing podcast that is arguably the #1 podcast in the insurance industry which is featured on iTunes, Spotify, Soundcloud and iHeart Radio.
Kay Maghan – Public Relations Manager, Gulf Shores & Orange Beach Tourism
With 18 years’ experience representing destinations and resorts in the Southeast and mid-Atlantic, Kay Maghan is a seasoned travel and tourism public relations professional who has learned the keys to being a solid PR pro are building relationships with media, responding quickly to media needs, and constantly looking for the back story … that unique angle of a place and its people that brings something different to the table. Kay has served as co-chair of professional development for the 2015 Society of American Travel Writers Convention in Las Vegas, served on the local host committee for the 2013 Society of American Travel Writers Convention in Biloxi, Mississippi and is past chair of the PRSA Travel & Tourism Section, serving on its board for eight years. Previously handling tourism PR for her native Mississippi Gulf Coast while with GodwinGroup in Gulfport, Mississippi, she “traded Coasts” in mid-2014 becoming PR Manager for Gulf Shores & Orange Beach Tourism on the Alabama Gulf Coast. Other work experience includes Hershey Entertainment & Resorts in Hershey, Pennsylvania; Nemacolin Woodlands Resort in Farmington, Pennsylvania; and the Jackson, Mississippi Convention & Visitors Bureau.
Braxton Gilbert – Owner, Braxton Gilbert Fitness
At age 22, Braxton Gilbert is the owner of Braxton Gilbert Fitness. He has created a fitness business from scratch that has now worked with more than 4,000 training clients and employees. BGFitness is, as their mission statement says, a “results-driven fitness coaching” company.
MEETING RESERVATION POLICY
Online registration is available until the day of our monthly luncheon, or while space remains. The price to attend increases the Tuesday before the event.
Register by noon on Monday before the luncheon for best pricing: $25 for members, $30 for guests and $20 for students. The registration cost for everyone registering after 12 p.m. on Monday (online and onsite) is $30.
Remember, those who make a reservation but do not attend or cancel by email 48 hours in advance will be invoiced. Refunds/transfers will not be issued.
